Minolta recommends the use of NiMH batteries only.
Especially for the F Series cameras, you can use CR-V3 lithium Ion batteries, which can last for 300-350 images. We recommend the use of NiMH batteries, but placing one CR-V3 in your bag for important shootings as back up.
